In the summer of 2007 I traveled, along with a crew of six others, to Thailand to shoot a documentary on sex trafficking among children in Southeast Asia. It would be hard for me to try and summarize that formative month of my life in a few sentences. But my time as the still photographer on the crew did a lot to shape me as a person and as a photographer.
